Ray’s guitar

Ray’s guitar is a grand auditorium model in East Indian rosewood with a torrefied western red cedar top. The Honduran mahogany neck joins the body at the 12th fret rather than the normal 14th fret, pushing the bridge further down towards widest part of the lower bout, commonly known as the “sweet spot”. Placing the bridge here helps produce more volume and projection. Scale length is 25.5”. The guitar features gold coloured Gotoh 510 tuners and a side sound port on the upper bout.

Mary’s guitar

Mary’s guitar is a small bodied single 0 in birdseye maple with a western red cedar top. The bridge is mahogany as are the body bindings. Mary’s guitar also has a side sound port in the upper bout.
